Co-Founder, Techies Go Green

Michael O’Hara is the co-founder of Techies Go Green and a qualified accountant with a strong background in leadership and sustainability. He previously served as Managing Director of DataSolutions Limited, a highly successful IT distribution company operating across the UK and Ireland, which he led through significant growth before its successful sale in 2023. Michael is deeply passionate about sustainability and works to support organisations in reducing their environmental impact. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is an avid trekker, regular gym enthusiast, and enjoys travelling to explore diverse cultures.

George Cook
Honorary Chief Executive, Computers 4 Charity

George started refurbishing computers for charities in 1996, through a project called “CyberCycle” and set up 20 computer refurbishing projects around the UK. In 2004 Microsoft invited George to lead on its internal project “Digital Pipeline”, which set up an IT workshop in Namibia. In 2021 ACER launched the Aspire Vero laptop made from recycled plastic and designed to be infinitely repairable, with Computers 4 Charity as its refurbishment partner. Today Computers 4 Charity works in partnership with charities, government organisations and businesses, giving devices a second life and delivering ESG.

Passionate about environmental issues and nature restoration, Conor believes that there are better ways to conduct business; one that is good for people, the planet, and the bottom line. Conor Daly has a MSc. in Food Business Management & Technology.
