Exploring Biodiversity at Farnham Estate

Techies Go Green visited the Farnham Estate for a guided nature walk led by Maurice Ryan of Green Belt, alongside ecologist Fiona Nulty and botanist Alexis FitzGerald. Set across 1300 acres of woodland and parkland, the experience offered a deeper understanding of biodiversity, sustainable land stewardship, and the importance of protecting natural ecosystems.

It was a fantastic day filled with learning, conversation, and connection with others who share a passion for sustainability and the natural world.

A special thank you to Maurice Ryan and Green Belt for the unique wooden timber keepsake gifted to the Techies Go Green team — a meaningful piece crafted from rare Panama timber, with only 113 pieces in existence.
