The Tech Excellence Sustainability Award 2026: Finalists Announced

The countdown is on for the Tech Excellence Awards 2026, and the energy is building as the event moves into its most exciting phase. With entries now closed and finalists confirmed, all eyes turn to 14 May in Dublin, where the industry will come together for a night that celebrates not just innovation, but real impact.

Taking place at the Royal Marine Hotel, the event will bring together leaders from across the tech world. The focus is not only on who is building the best technology, but on who is using it to create meaningful change. Sustainability is no longer a side conversation. It is becoming a core measure of success.

The Techies Go Green Sustainability Award recognises organisations that are putting sustainability into action in a real and consistent way. This is about more than ideas or promises. It is about clear effort, strong planning, and results that make a difference over time.

What makes this year especially interesting is the variety of approaches. Some finalists are helping people learn and take action. Others are finding ways to reduce emissions or improve energy use. Some are rethinking how resources are managed from the ground up. Together, they reflect a tech sector that is starting to take real responsibility for the future and showing what is possible when innovation is combined with purpose.

The Techies Go Green Sustainability Award carries real weight. It recognises organisations that are putting in the work and making a measurable difference. Winners will be featured across TechCentral.ie channels and photo galleries. Comit PR & marketing Services will provide €3,000 worth of PR services to the winner.

At the same time, being named a finalist is an achievement in itself. It reflects the quality of work being done and places each organisation among leaders in sustainability within the tech sector. That recognition matters, not just on the night, but in building credibility, opening new opportunities, and continuing to drive change.
