You will have the opportunity to tour Diageo’s newly built €300m Littleconnell Brewery. It runs on 100% renewable electricity and advanced green technologies. The facility targets an annual carbon emissions avoidance of 15,000 tonnes compared to standard plants.
As part of our tour you will learn about their energy and resource Innovations which utilise high-efficiency heat pumps, energy storage systems, and biogas-ready infrastructure. The facility employs advanced process equipment to cut down water intensity per hectolitre brewed, and integrates state-of-the-art heat recovery and low-energy brewing vessels.
