Croke Park Stadium and Conference Centre uses an integrated Building Management System (BMS), sub-metering, and ISO 50001 certification to optimise energy efficiency. These upgrades and real-time controls have successfully cut baseline energy usage by 20% despite expanding event schedules and venue operations. Join us at Hibernia Real Estate Group’s headquarters located at 1 WML (Windmill Lane) in the Dublin Docklands where we will start with a presentation about their energy efficiency innovations. We will then tour 1 and 2 Cumberland Place where they have achieved a 63% reduction in primary energy demand following a deep retrofit.
Learn about their upgrades which have improved its Building Energy Rating from E2 to B2 and cut energy use intensity by an additional 39% using demand-controlled ventilation and heat recycling. You will get a chance to see how they have integrated technologies such as Smart-Enabled Workspace Infrastructure, Demand-Controlled Ventilation, a Heat Recycling System, and Active Monitoring.

You will have the opportunity to tour Diageo’s newly built €300m Littleconnell Brewery. It runs on 100% renewable electricity and advanced green technologies. The facility targets an annual carbon emissions avoidance of 15,000 tonnes compared to standard plants.
As part of our tour you will learn about their energy and resource Innovations which utilise high-efficiency heat pumps, energy storage systems, and biogas-ready infrastructure. The facility employs advanced process equipment to cut down water intensity per hectolitre brewed, and integrates state-of-the-art heat recovery and low-energy brewing vessels.
